But after struggling with certificate issues and other networking stuff, i finally always end up with the BAD RESPONSE error
\n
Error:
\n
","author":{"login":"qnlbnsl","avatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/46204848?u=a722bd4abbdfc02272f12186afdad089b4ddc311&v=4","name":"Kunal Bansal","location":"Fort Worth, TX","websiteUrl":null,"createdAt":"2018-12-28T00:11:26Z","followers":{"totalCount":7}},"createdAt":"2023-06-26T06:34:28Z","lastEditedAt":null,"upvoteCount":1,"reactionGroups":[{"content":"THUMBS_UP","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"THUMBS_DOWN","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"LAUGH","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"HOORAY","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"CONFUSED","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"HEART","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"ROCKET","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"EYES","users":{"totalCount":0}}]},{"id":"DC_kwDOFHL0rM4AZScn","body":"Hello. Can you tell me where the log file is stored?
","author":{"login":"dto","avatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/22819?u=d8d12daf615a55d503a9500f1604508e61c4e2ca&v=4","name":"dto","location":null,"websiteUrl":null,"createdAt":"2008-09-02T06:11:19Z","followers":{"totalCount":158}},"createdAt":"2024-10-29T20:01:11Z","lastEditedAt":null,"upvoteCount":1,"reactionGroups":[{"content":"THUMBS_UP","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"THUMBS_DOWN","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"LAUGH","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"HOORAY","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"CONFUSED","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"HEART","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"ROCKET","users":{"totalCount":0}},{"content":"EYES","users":{"totalCount":0}}]},{"id":"DC_kwDOFHL0rM4AsXgI","body":"Hi Lissy,\r\n\r\nI'm another huge fan of your dashboard after trying it out. Outside of a somewhat slow start up time, it's been running fine. However, I noticed after I started it up that I was having trouble accessing other network resources from my Pi when the container was running. In fact, on my Dashy dashboard I'm getting a couple of \"ENOTFOUND -3008\" errors trying to provide status for services running in another subnet. \r\n\r\nI finally figured out that it was due to an IP address collision between the subnet that the Pi is physically attached to (172.17.2.0/24) \r\nand the default bridge addressing (172.16.0.0/16). Among other things, when Dashy is running my Pi is using 172.16.0.1 as its primary router instead of any of the other advertised routes.\r\n\r\nI built 172.17.2.0/24 long, long before Docker was on my radar and readdressing it is impractical. It's almost two thousand miles away and has a fair number of devices in it. \r\n\r\nI decided my best bet was to readdress the Dashy Docker network. I read through the [Docker documentation](https://docs.docker.com/engine/network/drivers/bridge/#differences-between-user-defined-bridges-and-the-default-bridge) and ended up creating /etc/docker/daemon.json on my Pi with the following content:\r\n\r\n> {\r\n> \"bip\": \"10.201.1.1/16\",\r\n> \"fixed-cidr\": \"10.201.1.0/25\",\r\n> \"mtu\": 1500,\r\n> \"default-gateway\": \"10.201.0.1\"\r\n> }\r\n> \r\n\r\nIf I read the documentation correctly, that should create a default bridge network definition that won't collide with any network that I'm running or plan to create in the future.\r\n\r\nI then ran **docker-compose down**, deleted the dashy image, and reran **docker-compose up -d** to pull it down and recreate it. However, when the dashy_default network was recreated, it still did so as 172.16.0.0/16. \r\n\r\nMy next thought was to use docker-compose.yml to provide the same information. Unfortunately I couldn't find any examples for how to use docker-compose.yml to readdress an internal network. I did find a couple references for how to _add_ internal networks, though.\r\n\r\nWhat would you recommend as the best means to readdress dashy_default? \r\n\r\nTIA","bodyHTML":"
Hi Lissy,
\n
I'm another huge fan of your dashboard after trying it out.
